What does the Spinefitter do?
The Spinefitter is a spinal massage and training tool developed from daily physiotherapy and Pilates practice. Its 28 double-row balls are arranged in two parallel rows, and your spine rests in the channel between them while the balls work into the musculature on both sides. The result is deep-acting relief, gentle mobilisation, and meaningful core activation, all from one intuitive piece of kit.
Deep back massage
28 double-row balls deliver an intensive massage along the full musculature on both sides of the spine, releasing tension and easing blockages through the neck, back, and shoulders.
Spinal mobilisation
Your spine rests naturally in the channel between the two rows of balls, gently mobilising the vertebrae as you lie still or move through exercises. Intuitive and effective from the first session.
Core activation
The unstable surface creates constant micro-rebalancing, engaging the deep stabilising muscles that support posture, spinal health, and long-term core strength.

What is SISSEL and where does the brand come from?
SISSEL is a Swedish-born health and wellness brand founded in 1986, when a Swedish woman designed an anatomically shaped neck pillow as a natural solution for her neck discomfort. That original pillow went on to sell millions worldwide and its distinctive sloped shape still forms the company's logo today. Now available in over 70 countries, SISSEL has grown into one of Europe's leading wellness brands with over 150 products spanning healthy sleeping, healthy sitting, fitness, Pilates, yoga, massage and wellbeing, all developed under their guiding philosophy "The Natural Way."
What kind of products does SISSEL offer?
SISSEL's range covers six core areas: Healthy Sleeping (orthopaedic neck pillows in classic, soft, and viscoelastic foam options), Healthy Sitting (ergonomic seat cushions like the SITFIT), Healthy Moving (exercise balls, balance boards, Pilates equipment, and resistance tools), Wellbeing (natural heat products filled with linseed and cherry stones), plus their innovative Spinefitter back mobilisation device and a full range of myofascial release tools. Whether you need a better night's sleep, improved posture at your desk, or professional-grade fitness and wellness equipment, SISSEL has a solution designed to support your body naturally.
What is the Spinefitter by SISSEL and what does it do?
The Spinefitter is SISSEL's flagship innovation for the 2020s, a versatile mobilisation and training device featuring 28 interconnected balls that apply targeted deep pressure along both sides of the spine to support tension release, fascial mobility, and joint movement. Developed by a German physiotherapist and used worldwide by Pilates studios, wellness professionals, and home users alike, it can be used on its own or combined with a Reformer, and the optional Linum pad can be heated or chilled for additional comfort.
Are SISSEL products medically approved and professionally trusted?
Yes. SISSEL holds CE approval on all relevant products and their quality management system is certified to DIN EN ISO 13485, an internationally recognised quality standard, which means their products are manufactured and controlled to the highest standards. The effectiveness of their orthopaedic pillows has been supported by multiple international studies, and SISSEL products are widely recommended and used by physiotherapists, Pilates instructors, and wellness professionals across the world.
Where are SISSEL products made and what about sustainability?
SISSEL products are predominantly manufactured in Europe, with Sweden and Germany as the primary production countries, ensuring every product meets the rigorous quality and craftsmanship standards those nations are known for. The brand is committed to environmentally friendly production processes, the use of sustainable materials, and the non-use of harmful phthalates, ensuring that their "Natural Way" philosophy extends beyond the products themselves to how they're made.
