The science of better foot support
Footactive insoles are developed by an in-house team of podiatrists and physiotherapists to treat the biomechanical cause of foot pain, not just cushion the symptoms. Originally founded in Australia and now distributed across the UK, Europe, and the United States, Footactive has been an NHS-approved supplier since 2010. The Green Steps ECO range brings the same proven arch support technology to insoles made from up to 76% renewable bio-content materials.

Who are Footactive?
Footactive is one of the world's leading distributors of orthotic and lifestyle insoles. Originally founded in Australia, the brand now distributes across the UK, Europe, and the United States. All insoles are designed by an in-house team of podiatrists and physiotherapists, and the brand has been an NHS-approved supplier since 2010. The range covers medical, sports, everyday, and children's foot problems, as well as the newer Green Steps ECO line made from sustainable materials.
What conditions can Footactive insoles help with?
Footactive insoles are designed to help with a range of common foot and lower body conditions including plantar fasciitis, heel pain, heel spurs, Achilles tendonitis, ball of foot pain, flat feet, fallen arches, over-pronation (inward rolling of the ankle), shin splints, and associated knee and lower back pain. Different insoles in the range target different conditions, so it's worth checking the product details to find the right one for your specific needs.
How do I choose the right Footactive insole?
The right insole depends on your condition and how you'll be using it. The Plantar Fasciitis insole is designed specifically for plantar fascia and heel pain relief. The Comfort insole is a medium-density everyday option for general arch support and cushioning. The Sports insole provides high shock absorption for active use. The Medical insole is the firmest option for severe over-pronation and flat feet. The Workmate is built for people who spend all day on their feet on hard surfaces. If you're unsure, our clinician team can help point you in the right direction.
What are the Green Steps ECO insoles?

The insoles feature an organic cotton top cover and are designed to deliver the same biomechanical arch support and cushioning as the standard Footactive range but with a significantly reduced environmental footprint. The Green Steps range currently includes options for plantar fasciitis and active/sports u
